About
I retired from business in 2012 and renewed my long-standing interest in art, undertaking painting and drawing workshops and formal study to deepen my technical skills and artistic understanding.
I am primarily a representational landscape artist, inspired by nature both locally and further afield. I work in acrylic and watercolor, often incorporating water-soluble pencils, and I remain continually interested in exploring new techniques, processes, and media.
My practice is guided by observation, experimentation, and a strong connection to place.
Art Education
In 2021, I completed the Certificate of Fundamentals of Art at the Dundas Valley School of Art. This comprehensive program covered multiple disciplines, including drawing, sculpture, painting, and pottery, and provided a strong foundation across traditional and contemporary practices.
